The 3-Day First Aid at Work course provides comprehensive training in essential first aid skills needed to handle workplace emergencies. The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 mandate that employers provide sufficient equipment, facilities, and trained personnel to ensure immediate medical attention for employees who are injured or ill at work. These regulations apply to all workplaces, including those with fewer than five employees and the self-employed. This course ensures that first-aiders are well-informed, qualified, and confident in their skills, meeting these regulatory requirements. It is especially recommended for those working in high-risk environments, such as building sites and warehouses. The course covers:

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. 

The course will be delivered in English. Delegates must be able to read, write and communicate verbally in English.

Delegates will be evaluated via continuous observation by the trainer and written assessments.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a First Aid at Work qualification valid for 3 years. It is recommended that the requalification course be taken every 3 years to ensure that all first-aiders are kept up to date with current practices.

Why do I need a First Aid at Work qualification?

By law you are required to hold a valid, in date first aid qualification if you are the designated first aider within a workplace. After successful completion of the 3 day course delegates will be able to complete the 2 day First Aid at Work Requalification.
