CITB offers Grants for construction industry employers who provide training for their workforce.
All employers registered with CITB can claim grants for short courses, short qualifications and much more.
Grants for short courses are applicable to construction courses that last from 3 hours to 29 days and comes in 3 tiers.
Tier 1 – £60 Per Course
Tier 2 – £140 Per Course
Tier 3 – £240 Per Course
The Grant is also claimable on the refresher courses respectively.

This one day CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme has been developed for site supervisors/managers with the aim of providing candidates with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites. It is designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain are required to prove to major contractors, and covers the environmental aspects of the new HS&E touch screen test. The course will bring the candidates’ environmental and sustainability knowledge up to date by giving a thorough overview of the subject, relevant legislation and industry best practice.
CITB Asbestos Awareness is a crucial course to those in construction, learn about the dangers of asbestos and how to avoid the risk of exposure in this well designed course.
CITB Abrasive Wheels is an important course to teach delegates of the dangers and correct procedures whilst working with Abrasive Wheels.
CITB Low Risk Confined Space is vital to all those working in confined space. It teaches the delegates the procedures and practises to take whilst working in Confined Spaces.
CITB Harness & Lanyard Training delves deep into the core principles and procedures whilst using Harness and Lanyard equipment.
Manual Handling is a thorough course designed to ensure safe practises are used whilst in the work place.
The CITB Working at Height is a dynamic course that covers all safety aspects while working at heights.
We offer Detection of Buried Services training and specialise in CAT & Genny training. The course covers all the essential need-to-know content to ensure workers are able to safely use the equipment to asses and survey an area for work.

Most contractors and employers will require you to have an in-date CSCS labourers card minimum to be on site. Regardless of your qualification, they will refuse you entry if you do not have one. We offer a package course where delegates can complete their Level 1 Health and Safety in Construction Environment and also complete their touchscreen test afterwards to go on and apply fo their card.
This course runs over 1 day, 8 am till 4 pm. Delegates will be able to apply for their card on successful completion of both parts.
