The First Aid at Work Requalification course is designed for certified first aiders whose qualification is expiring. This one-day course refreshes essential skills, including CPR, wound treatment, and emergency response, ensuring compliance with current standards. Participants will update their knowledge, practice critical techniques, and renew their certification to continue providing effective first aid in the workplace.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but it is not suitable for first-aiders with a certificate older than 3 years; these candidates should book our full 3-day course.
The course will be delivered in English. Delegates must be able to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
Delegates will be assessed via continuous observation by the trainer and written assessments.
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate valid for a further 3 years.

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with less than five employees and to the self-employed.

By law you are required to hold a valid, in date first aid qualification if you are the designated first aider within a workplace. The requalification will allow you to retain the qualification without you completing the full 3 day course.
